The Romanov Dynasty
This mystery has always piqued my interest. The massacre of the Romanov dynasty had a rocky path before it was solved. The bodies of most of the family were found and identified besides those of the daughter Grand Duchess Anastasia and her brother Alexi.
The "monk" Grigory Efimovich Novyk (Known to most people as Rasputin) cursed the Romanov family to die if, in fact, someone in the family killed him. In a letter he wrote
"I think of your blessed family. Grigory write and leave behind me this letter at St. Petersburg. I feel that I shall leave life before January 1...If I am killed by common assassins, and especially by my brothers the Russian peasants, you Tsar of Russia, have nothing to fear, remain on your throne and govern, and you, Russian Tsar, will have nothing to fear for your children, they will reign for hundreds of years in Russia...if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family, that is to say, none of your children or relations, will remain alive for more than two years. They will be killed by the Russian people...You must reflect and act prudently. Think of your safety and tell your relations that I have paid for them with my blood. I shall be killed. I am no longer among the living."

The Tsar of Russia and his family in fact, lived no more than two years. After every body being identified besides those of Alexi and Anastasia, many impostors have shown up. Anna Anderson was the most famous. She claimed she was the Grand Duchess Anastasia. She knew things only someone in the Romanov family could have known, however, somethings she didn't.

Marie was born 1755. She was a french princess, but not for long. She soon married King Louis XVI. Marie became the Queen of France.

This caused probles because the Queen was unable to make an heir to the throne.

Marie Antoinette was the epitome of fashion in France. She lived a life of carelessness always attending balls, bestowing expensive gifts on her friends, and gambling. She was also very into theatrics.
By 1786 most of France hated Marie because of her alienation from French Courts and etiquette. Marie was a mother to four children. Haaaa random. Anwyayys, in the late 1780's France was going through hard times. Food was scarce. Marie came to the aid of the people of France, but her kindness was forgotten. Many of France's citizens only focused on her previous behavior. They blamed Marie for all France's debt, when in reality it was debt left from the previous king.
Marie and Louis tried to escape France with their children disguised as common people, however, they were spotted and the mobs were alerted.
France then became a republic and sent the royal family to jail.
Louis XVI was accused of treason, tried, and found guilty. He was beheaded in January 1793. Marie was also found guilty and was beheaded on October 14, 1793
